This weekend Susy and I volunteered some time to sell some homemade SusyCakes cupcakes for a good cause.
Susy is part of a cupcake meetup group (Cupcakes Take The Cake) and they were going to sell their tasty cakes at the Brooklyn Flea and donate the proceeds to the CancerCare for Kids foundation.

Initially I was’nt really into the shirt and what it said… It didn’t speak to me…
Part of the challenage of what I do is finding meaning in things, making it personal to me and bringing it out.
So I came up with the concept of the forgotten angel, those tossed aside, using a person you wouldn’t normally associate with poverty and dispair…
These are the resulting images… Do you think it works?
